Take a break from studying for finals and join the Venezuelan Student Association in our end-of-year celebration! We will have free Venezuelan food to share our culture with the Stanford community... arepas, tequeños, tres leches and much more!

This will be a great opportunity to talk to us and ask any questions you may have, not only about our role on campus, but also about Venezuela's current crisis and how to help.

Good morning. My name is Ena Alvarado, and as president of the Venezuelan Student Association, I have the immense pleasure of warmly welcoming you all to “Venezuela at a Crossroads,” an academic conference that hopes to address the current political, socio-economic, and institutional crisis afflicting Venezuela. Today’s five featured scholars—a mix of political scientists, economists, sociologists, and historians—will offer us a wide range of perspectives through which to understand Venezuela.
