What we do
The IT CAD group (Computer Aided Design) is responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance for all the IT Communication and Networking Systems AutoCad drawings, associated databases, and CNSCAD website. These documents consist of more than 4,000 drawings and database entries that are updated and added to on a daily basis.
The CAD group is also responsible for the record maintenance of all types of underground communications conduit systems, including pull boxes, communication vaults, and related documentation, as well as all types of underground copper twisted pair, fiber optic, and CATV coax cables that are the communications backbone for the university.
