Vice Provost for Teaching & Learning
Take advantage of the VPTL grants and programs designed for Stanford faculty and instructional teams to explore new directions for course, curriculum, and digital technology development and support priorities expressed by departments, programs, centers and schools.
The Innovation Grant Program provides financial support and project assistance. Funding decisions are based on the priorities expressed in the grant program description.
The iPads for Learning program investigates the use of iPads can potentially impact teaching, learning, and research when applied in the service of specific goals. Each quarter the program committee supports a select number of Stanford faculty and instructor proposals that demonstrate the potential to make a contribution to Stanford's understanding of using iPads to support teaching, learning, and research.
VPTL offers quarterly Teaching Advancement Grants up to $2500 to Stanford faculty, lecturers, instructional teams, and graduate students. Grants advance teaching practice by supporting the exploration, design, and implementation of new or improved pedagogical approaches in current courses and educational programs.
