The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued the Information Collection Budget of the United States Government (ICB) in June 2006. The ICB is OMB’s annual report to Congress under the Paperwork Reduction Act. On October 13, 2006, OMB received on a letter from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services of the Department of Health and Human Services providing a revised estimate of its annual paperwork burden. In a letter dated December 15, 2006, OIRA informed the House Committee on Government Reform that OIRA would post on OMB's website a revised version of the FY 2006 ICB on OMB's Web site that incorporates the revised burden estimate.
