About the Ads You See From Facebook
When we ask people about our ads, one of the top things they tell us is that they want to see ads that relate to things they care about. When you visit Facebook, you may see ads in your News Feed, for example. You may also see ads on apps and websites in the Facebook Audience Network. When companies buy ads through Facebook, they can choose to have their ads distributed in the Audience Network.
We want the ads you see to be as interesting and useful to you as possible. To decide which ads to show you, we use things like:
Information you share on Facebook (ex: Pages you like).
Other information about you from your Facebook account (ex: your age, your gender, your location, the devices you use to access Facebook).
Information advertisers and our marketing partners share with us that they already have (ex: your email address).
Your activity on apps and websites off of Facebook.
