Chet Baker was an American trumpetist. During his exceptionnaly long carrer (almost 40 years), he collaborated with many of the greatest, like Stan Getz, Bill Evans, Bud Shank, and many others. His carrer was punctuated by several imprisonement. He died falling off the window of an hotel in Amstredam, in 1988.

Jimmy Raney was a American jazz guitarist . During his inrecdible carrer, he collaborated with famous Jazz artists like Stan Getz​. He continued playing until the end of his life, despite beeing almost completely deaf. The New York Times called him "one of the most gifted and influential postwar jazz guitarists in the world".
