The Anderson Collection at Stanford University has reopened to the public with new days and hours, and special member hours during the first week of reopening. Free timed tickets are required for every visitor (including members).

Temporary Summer Closure
May 3, 2021 - Fall 2021

Please note: The first floor of the Anderson Collection will be open through May 2 for viewing of Formed and Fired: Contemporary American Ceramics and Hostile Terrain 94. The second floor of the Anderson will remain closed during this first phase of reopening, and the entire museum will close temporarily for the summer on May 3 for building maintenance.

Parking Changes

Stanford has moved to a new contactless web/app system to pay for parking. Prior to your visit, we recommend you visit the Stanford Transportation website to familiarize with the new process.

Wednesday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Friday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Getting Here & New Parking System

  • We remind you that free timed tickets are required for every visitor, including members.
  • Please enter the museum at the start time marked on your ticket to allow your party (and others) enough time to visit all galleries.
  • The parking process has changed. Visitors must pay for parking via Stanford Transportation's ParkMobile App.

 

 


The Basics of our "New Normal"

We want to make your visit as safe and enjoyable as possible.

  • Please stay home if you feel sick.
  • Free timed tickets are required for entry. Tickets are available for members starting April 12, and for the general public starting April 14.
  • Masks are required for all visitors 2 years and older.
  • Maintain social distance. Stay six feet apart from others.
