On March 17, 2020, the Governor issued Executive Order N-29-20 suspending certain provisions of the Ralph M. Brown Act in order to allow for local legislative bodies to conduct their meetings telephonically or by other electronic means. Thus, pursuant to Executive Order N-29-20, local and statewide health orders, and the CDC’s social distancing guidelines which discourage large public gatherings, the Board chambers is no longer open to the public for meetings of the Board of Supervisors.
The San Mateo County Health Order of June 17 rescinds the County shelter in place order but still requires residents to comply with certain restrictions and requirements including wearing face coverings outside the home. Learn more here:
