COVID-19 NEWS & UPDATES

As Stanford's COVID-19 response continues to evolve, VPUE Undergraduate Research is thoughtfully considering the implications of the 4-quarter system, limited campus access, and travel restrictions on undergraduate research for the 2020-2021 academic year. Please continue to check this webpage for our news and updates. Information on University operations and policies in the context of the pandemic can be found on the Health Alerts webpage.

On Travel

As of September 2020, research projects that require travel of any kind are strictly prohibited until further notice. This includes both domestic and international AND all travel that is local in nature (e.g. visiting a nearby library or museum in the town where a student is living, commuting from off campus to an on-campus facility, etc.) We understand that levels of COVID-19 risk and related local guidelines vary by region, but no exceptions will be made. Policies regarding travel will be updated as the University's policies evolve.
