IRiSS operates several research experience programs in support of social science research at Stanford. These programs expand the pool of human research subjects and volunteers available to Stanford graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, honors undergraduate students, and faculty. At the same time, the programs engage Stanford alumni and local community college students in the cutting edge contemporary research for which Stanford is known.
