Limited Marguerite and transit service

Stanford’s free Marguerite shuttle will offer limited service on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. All Marguerite service, including at Stanford Redwood City, will be suspended except the following lines:

Transit service elsewhere in the Bay Area will also be limited:

No Scoop service

In observance of the holiday, Scoop will not be running carpool trips on Monday, Sept. 7. However, users will continue to be able to schedule trips for Tuesday, Sept. 8. 

Limited parking enforcement

On Sept. 7, unless otherwise indicated, parking permit enforcement will be suspended in all 'C,' ‘Z,’ and ‘C-SRWC’ parking spaces, most visitor/meter spaces, and in most 'A' spaces, with the exception of some parking facilities serving the hospitals and School of Medicine on the main campus.

Parking enforcement on the main campus

Parking will be enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in residential lots (except shared lots) and special zones, such as disabled parking,'D' spaces, red zones, fire lanes, and special-permit-only spaces.

Parking enforcement on Stanford Redwood City

Parking will be suspended in all ‘C-SRWC’ parking lots, including Barron Garage, Broadway Lot, and Bay Lot. Parking will continue to be enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in special zones, such as disabled parking, red zones, fire lanes, and special-permit-only spaces.

Parking at the Medical Center

'A' parking spaces, visitor/meter spaces, Service/University Vehicle spaces, and timed loading zones/spaces serving the hospitals and School of Medicine will be enforced during the holiday closure as follows.
