Between Oct. 31 and Nov. 3, the voting center at Tresidder Union will be open to the public for in-person voting or to drop off mail-in ballots.

Santa Clara County voters and poll workers who will be voting in person, dropping off their mail-in ballot, or facilitating voting at the Stanford voting center may park in Tresidder Lot (L-39) without a permit in designated spaces during this time.

Visitors temporarily allowed to enter campus core to vote

The Academic Campus Zone has been restricted to teaching and research activities since Sept. 1. However, despite the posted STAY SAFE signage that continues to provide information about restricted campus access, visitors will be allowed to enter the Academic Campus Zone temporarily to vote or facilitate voting at Tresidder Union during this time.

If you plan to visit campus, please follow COVID-19 safety protocol, including maintaining appropriate physical distance and wearing a face covering.

Voter parking: Oct. 31 - Nov. 3

Parking will be available in designated spaces at Tresidder Lot (L-39) for voters at no charge and permits will not be required in those spaces from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.

Parking access for poll workers: Oct. 30 - Nov. 4

Poll workers will have additional days of parking access on Oct. 30 and Nov. 4, as they set up and remove voting equipment. Poll workers may park in designated spaces in Tresidder Lot (L-39) from Oct. 30 through Nov. 4 without charge and without a permit.

Please look for signage that identifies the spaces that have been reserved for voters and/or poll workers. Parking will continue to be enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the rest of the main campus and in all special zones, such as disabled parking, red zones, fire lanes, and special-permit-only spaces.
