Axess Updates Rolling Out Soon

Axess Refresh: Bringing you a more streamlined and intuitive experience
Wednesday, July 20, 2022

Planned updates for Axess, part of the Axess Refresh project, are coming next month. The go-live date has been slated for Aug. 9, pending the results of currently-in-progress user testing.

The refresh will modernize how Axess looks and works, while maintaining the key tools and features we all rely on.

What can you expect?

For most of us, there is no action or preparation needed. Important functions and processes available through Axess will remain mostly unchanged. You can simply log in and enjoy the improvements!

The most noticeable changes will be:

  • Improved navigation and search options

  • Elevated design, including updated layouts for some pages

  • New custom features and tools, such as the ability to toggle among your available roles at Stanford

And when?

The project is in its final stages, with user testing happening now. The go-live date has been planned for Aug. 9, but could move to a later date in August if additional time is needed for testing.

When ready, the update will take place during a weekend in August and will require about three days of downtime. For the latest information about this Axess Refresh, including information about the go-live status, visit axessrefresh.stanford.edu
