Golden Bear Bingham's Bravery Honored At ‘02 ESPYs

Robert Paylor publicly received his 2017 varsity letter Tuesday night at the Rugby Banquet from Shaun Paga of the Letterman Society in the University Club at California Memorial Stadium. Paga, a former Cal Rugby national champion and U.S. National Team player, presented the award to Paylor, who is completing exams in his first year back as a full-time student while continuing his physical rehabilitation. Paylor’s recognition at the event, also attended by Director of Athletics Jim Knowlton, was followed by a gift from team parents to Robert’s parents, Jeff and Debbie Paylor.
