Designing Solutions for Wicked Problems

Designing Solutions for Wicked Problems creates innovative solutions for problems requiring large-scale sustainable transformations.

Students in this course work on “wicked” problems — those with deeply integrated interdependencies and large-scale challenges. The projects involve scaled interventions that need to simultaneously satisfy economic, social, and environmental needs. The course gives students an immersive experience of dealing with the highly integrated and holistic solutions required to solve the wicked problems of large-scale sustainable transformations.
