Legal Counseling Office

The ASSU Legal Counseling Office provides FREE legal advice and consultations for Stanford students. Our service is on-campus, completely confidential and provided by qualified attorneys.

We'll talk to you about:  Landlord/Tenant, Business, Tax, Bankruptcy, ID Theft, Employment, IP, Property, Divorce, Traffic, Wills, Shoplifting, D.I.P., Insurance, Contracts, D.U.I., Accidents, Immigration, Small Claims, and more!

The ASSU Legal Counseling Office (LCO) provides legal advice to Stanford students, their spouses and domestic partners. The LCO Is the first step for any student who thinks that he or she might have a legal issue, and is strictly confidential.   The office is located in the Old Union Building Suite 103, with lawyers available by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12noon to 4pm.  Hours differ during the Summer Quarter.
