Registration Opening Soon
The goal of the Stanford University Minority Medical Alliance (SUMMA) is to increase diversity in the health professions in order to better care for underserved communities. Our annual pre-medical conference is one of the oldest on the west coast and draws hundreds of students from throughout the Bay Area.
SUMMA is a coalition of Stanford medical students, including representatives from:
- Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA)
- Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA)
- LGBTQ-Meds
- Medical Students with Disability and Chronic Illness (MSDCI)
- Muslim Medical Association (SMMA)
- Stanford American Indigenous Medical Students (SAIMS)
- Student National Medical Association (SNMA)

Together, we provide support to Stanford's minority medical students as they work toward their degrees and to a future in health care with better outcomes for minority patients.
