Expenditures per Pupil for Public K–12 Education Remained Relatively Level in FY 18

Current expenditures per pupil on a national basis remained relatively level at $12,654 in fiscal year (FY) 18, which is an increase of 0.9 percent from FY 17, following an increase of 1.7 percent between FY 16 and FY 17, after adjusting for inflation. At the state level, current expenditures per pupil ranged from $7,576 in Utah to $23,686 in New York. » More info
