Welcome!

The Children’s Center of the Stanford Community (CCSC)—one of the largest parent cooperatives in the state of California—licensed to serve more than 200 families of Stanford University faculty, staff, and students. CCSC offers part- and full-time early childhood learning programs for children from eight weeks to five years old.

Accredited by the NAEYC, the play-based educational philosophy of the Center is grounded in the belief that children are competent, curious, and resourceful learners. Founded by Stanford graduate students in 1969, CCSC is the only nonprofit, cooperative childcare center on the Stanford University campus.

We have moved.

Just in time to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, Stanford committed $15 million to build CCSC a new home. We opened our doors in June 2019. This new campus consist of a series of three buildings and yards customized to our needs and teaching philosophies. It includes six additional classrooms to help us accommodate more children from our waitlist, which is the longest on campus.
