Cruisin' on the Open Water

Cruise ships sure have sure come a long way. I remember watching The Love Boat when I was growing up and seeing the rich and famous passengers hanging out with Isaac and Captain Stubbing. Now, cruises are a fun vacation for anyone!

Top Searched Cruises on AOL Search:
1. Princess Cruises
2. Carnival Cruises
3. Celebrity Cruises
4. Cheap Cruises
5. Disney Cruises
6. Royal Caribbean Cruises
7. Discount Cruises
8. Last Minute Cruises
9. Crystal Cruises
10. Costa Cruises

Today's cruise lines such as Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruises or Celebrity Cruises offer entertainment around-the-clock. They have dozens of excursions, off Broadway shows, rock climbing walls, ice skating rinks, pools, water parks, casinos ... the list just goes on and on.

Today's cruises are sophisticated, 100% self-contained, all-inclusive experiences that allow folks to visit countries all around the planet. When climbing aboard a cruise ship you have the option to stay aboard the whole time or visit a destination when the cruise stops at a port. So whether you're in the mood to just get some R & R or explore the underwater life in Grand Cayman Islands, cruises offer the best of both worlds.

In fact, if you want to set sail on a discount cruise to Costa Rica with nothing but families on the boat...you can. Or, if you're the type of folks who want to travel with a more (ahem) adult crowd to Holland-well you can do that too! Whether you're planning a Valentine's Day romantic weekend or a family vacation, check out AOL Travel for special deals on cruises. Also try searching for cruises on AOL Search. Bon voyage!

This Little Piggy

Until swine flu started making rounds, people had memories of cute pigs like Babe, Wilbur from 'Charlotte's Web' and Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. Thanks to a new trend, the species is overhauling its image with a new breed of adorabale piglets known as micropigs.

Forget about purse-sized puppies, teacup pigs are the latest pet craze. The piggies make excellent pets because of their high IQ (which is higher than dog's), loving nature and hairy coat, known to be less troublesome for those with allergies. Don't let the name fool you though. Teacup piglets are known to grow up to 65 pounds and can be as tall as your knee.

Would you have a pig as a pet? Rumor has it 'Harry Potter' star Rupert Grint has already bought two.

Help Your Hair

When the weather starts to change, my hair changes too--for the worst. It becomes dry, unmanageable and lackluster. But instead of pulling a Britney Spears and shaving it all off out of frustration, I reach for my secret weapon: leave-in conditioners.

Top Searched Leave-in Conditioners:
1. Vo5 Hot Oil Treatment
2. Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment
3. Ellin Lavar Penetrating Balm
4. Nexxus Emergencee
5. Terax Life Drops
6. Aveda Damage Remedy
7. Biolage Daily Leave-in Tonic
8. Aveda Dry Remedy
9. Frederic Fekkai Overnight Hair Repair
10. Kerastase Voile Nuit

Leave-in hair treatments are pretty self explanatory, and that is the beauty of them. Instead of going to a salon and paying big bucks for a professional treatment, you can sit at home with some ice cream and your fuzzy slippers while your hair rejuvenates. You can also use them on the run, like number five on our list Terax. Before you fashion your hair in the morning, work in some leave-in conditioner and then enjoy your trendy hair style for the rest of the day knowing that your locks are getting stronger and healthier by the minute.

Just as everyone's hair is different, there are tons of different kinds of treatments to help tame your tresses. The overall goal of a leave-in conditioner is to impart a bit of moisture to your locks while soothing tangles and split ends. Some use oils, others use glycerin and, if you look hard, a few use only all-natural ingredients. Check out our list of the top searched leave-in conditioners and find a treatment that works for you.

Number one on our list is probably the best known deep conditioning hair treatment. Vo5 is sold at most pharmacies and is the most affordable option on our list. The more expensive, but completely luxurious, brands include Aveda and Kerastase, who has several different strengthening conditioners.

What do you use to keep your hair healthy? Let us know! Find more leave-in conditioners on AOL Search.
