It's not news of the same caliber as the next W editor getting popped for a DUI, but after chasing this guy down to snap a picture, there's no way we were NOT gonna publish it. We don't wanna use a harsh word like d-bag—after all, this guy was minding his own business, driving along to his job or whatever—but wow. He probably paid someone money to do this. Kinda makes us wonder how many bad Ed Hardy tattoos there are out there. (And we're not talking about the MAN Ed Hardy, we mean the logo.) It looks like the domain name BADEDHARDYTATTOOS.com is still available; someone get on that.

Style Icon is a new series that highlights Angelenos who aren't strictly in the business of fashion, but who have an affinity for style, clothing, retail—or just plain looking good.

The first subject in the series is Daniel LeDisko (né Linton, or DanielRiots if you follow him on Twitter. Which we suggest you do because he's highly entertaining). He's one-half of the LA-based DJ/producer team LA Riots. They've remixed Kylie Minogue, Chris Cornell, Justice, Chromeo, the Ting Tings, Blake Lewis (yup, that Blake Lewis from American Idol), Tiesto, on and on. With dancefloor-destroying sets that typically run through indie dance and electro anthems to Belgium house and back again, LA Riots are filling progressively bigger clubs, all over the world. Sorry if it sounds like we drank the Kool-Aid; they're just that good.

Daniel has always impressed us with his sartorial style: it's a fusion of higher-end street wear, Band of Outsiders neo-prep, and clean, simple pieces from the likes of Rick Owens. We couldn't have selected a better Style Icon specimen: Daniel's as obsessed with clothing as we are. He does Gilt Groupe. He stalks jackets at Dior. He has between 100 - 150 pairs of sneakers, and that's not counting boots, shoes, or anything else. He bought his girlfriend an Alexander Wang Coco duffel bag for Valentine's Day. In short, he's our kind of guy. We caught up with him at Confederacy for a little shopping and conversation.

The good news is we're in the home stretch; it's almost the weekend. The bad news is that there's still a few more hours left in this day. Take a load off the old gray matter and look at pictures of pretty, pretty Monique Lhuillier wedding dresses. At last weekend's Unveiled: Bridal Style Revealed event, the boutique featured models, wine and cupcakes. The models were like gazelles. So lean, graceful…and so freakin' tall. (And for us, at 5'9", to say so means they're nearly Amazonian). Watching them scuttle around the shop was slightly unnerving: the very full skirts covered their heels, and it appeared that they were hovering, rather than walking. At one point, we wondered if they might be on wheels or something. We couldn't figure it out. We went up to one of the models and asked her if she might pull up the skirt so we could check out what was underneath…and then we ran away when we realized what a giant perv we sounded like. True story.

Here at Racked LA, we're eternal optimists. Once again, we're getting all revved up about the another Target collab: the Zac Posen line that drops on April 25. We flipped through the lookbook—liking about 90% of what we saw, good sign—when we noticed the prices. Sure, there's some cute stuff, a real leather jacket, Zac Posen designs…but spending $80 for a dress, or $200 for a jacket at Target? Don't get us wrong; we're not cheap people. We just want realistic value for our money. But what do you think?

We were shlepping around the New Mart last weekend, and we kept seeing this one girl with such amazing style: she was wearing thick-framed black eyeglasses and moto-style black leggings with mesh insets. She looked like the sexy librarian who would handily kick your ass if you told her one more time that she looked like a sexy librarian.

Later the same day, we ran into her when we were stalking a skirt at Tiziana's in Los Feliz. We totally read the event as a stroke of fate.

Turns out her super-striking moto leggings and tee were from Sena NYC, a brand she reps. We've said it before: it takes a lot for us to get hot and bothered over jersey, but these pieces do the job. The line is (obviously) based in New York, but you can find them at Tiziana's, Elyse Walker, Fred Segal Fun, Bleu and Revolve Clothing.

For the past week, we kept seeing colorful, recyclable totes around town, bearing the name Desigual, and we kept thinking, "What?" A recent trip to the Beverly Center cleared up the mystery: it's a new store that's part of a chain based in Barcelona. The store opened about two weeks ago. We were innocently walking by the store, and we were accosted by a bag lady–actually, a very friendly 20-something clerk who was trying to lure us into the store with a free bag.

It's weird, as brightly colored as all the shirts, dresses and accessories are, the store is pretty dimly lit. That's fine: some of the prints and color combos are so loud and fluorescent, they might actually glow in the dark.

Our first impression was that it was what Custo Barcelona might look like if they were designing for an older audience. Or if Custo Barcelona got together and made a baby with Johnny Was. It's not a look we're fans of, but obviously, a lot of people out there are.
