If you don’t want Facebook to suggest that friends tag you when photos look like you, you can turn off this feature. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Privacy Settings > How Tags Work > Tag Suggestions. Note that if you disable Tag Suggestions, friends will still be able to tag photos of you manually. Disabling tag suggestions will result in the deletion of your photo-comparison data that we use to make tag suggestions work.

Before you opt out of using this feature, we encourage you to consider how tag suggestions benefit you and your friends. Our tagging tools, which include grouping photos that look similar and suggesting friends who might be in them, are intended to make it easier to tag photos, tell friends that you’ve posted photos of them, and share the memories and experiences in your photos.
