We want you to submit by any means necessary (written, audio, video, etc.) how Halal Tube has benefited you, your lifestyle, your iman, your knowledge of the deen and anything else. The site is excellent. It’s a wonder someone didn’t come up with the idea sooner. As mentioned previously, downloading would be a nice plus, but for anyone looking to convert Youtube videos and the like, http://vixy.net/ should work.
The clean layout is one of the strong points and makes it easy to use. I did notice an ad though that said “Was Muhammad a Fraud?”

yes lectures should be made available in mp3 format (i can listen to them from work) but those of us who r in school then it can be difficult to sit in front of comp and listen to them..

Masha’Allah the website is great, it helped alot during Ramadan. One thing I loved about what you did in Ramadan was that you grouped all the Ramadan lectures together. Would it be possible to organize lectures based on topic? The Ramadan one was very helpful. For example, Salah, khushoo3, marriage, character…that kinda stuff…

Mariam – The Halal Tube search engine at the top right is excellent for searching for topics. Just type in salah or prayer or aqeedah or iman or beliefs or anything that is related to the topic of interest and some lectures should come up. I agree with you though, Halal Tube should categorize the lectures by topic, which would be interesting to see how they do it.

Halaltube has opened my eyes to Islamic media. My deen, lifestyle, and knowledge of Islam has increased tenfold since listening to halaltube. I go directly to halaltube before youtube and google videos now.

AlhumduliLlah, HalalTube has definitely made an impact in my life. I’ve learned a lot from the lectures (in particular the lectures by Shaykh Khalid, masha’Allah), and of course reminders are always of benefit.
This is the only site I use now to listen to lectures. Everything is very well organized, and there is a wonderful variety of speakers and topics, masha’Allah.

I was never a youtube fan and I don’t have time to look up lectures online. I did finally attend ISNA this year and my mom and me bought a carry on filled with lectures by various scholars… all amazing mashaAllah! There were some that I couldn’t buy and I was sad, but guess what?!?! They’re all on halaltube!
I checked out this site a few days before Ramadan after receiving a facebook message from my dear friend at stonybrook…may Allah reward him for sharing this helpful site! There was a list of posts about Ramadan…and how to prepare for Ramadan, how to make the best out of Ramadan…
And now …while I’m at work I just listen to halaltube all throughout the day! Alhamdulilah, I’ve learned so much and there is so much more to learn… endless cycle, from the cradle to the grave.

for firefox users: i found an add-on from firefox that enables you to download files such as the ones from youtube, google and also mp3 files. hope its useful. it’s called “Video DownloadHelper”

all i have to say is mashALLAH. b4 whenever i wanted to listen to a good lecture i had to search the internet for hours and hours, but since i discovered HALALTUBE, it has totally made life much easier. the greatest lectures by the coolest speakers, all on one site. subhanALLAH…in my opinion the best way to improve on the site would be to add a download feauture.

JazakAllah khair for your comments! We really appreciate it! We are working slowly to allow users to download the audio lectures. The video lectures aren’t technically downloadable since they are hosted by YouTube, Google, Yahoo, etc. But their are various online software and plugin for browsers which enables people to download the videos from those sites and others.

may allah bless you all for your work. iam afraid to say that iam a little bit concerned about the advertisement on this website. one one hand you are trying to spread knowledge and the diin of allah and one the other side you are spreading the darkness and lies of some websides wich are popping up on googles adsens on the left side of the content. What about the black banner with the title “Religion runs amok” Are you really in need to promote things like that? i guess the income of google adsens is not worth that and otherwise you dont have the control of what is shown as advertise on adsense. so i will give you the advice to get rid of that and tawakkul al allah.

As a 12month old revert, who has only recently ( in the last 3 weeks) learnt of this website- and its transformed my life. Iv learnt alot the past 12 months reading many books, but this website has given me the opportunity to listen to some scholars as though I had been able to be present in the lecture. Thank You so much to everyone for posting the lectures… reading books has been awesome, however listening to people in the flesh and hearing voices talk about Islam has been such a blessing… you can hear the emotion and the passion… may you all be blessed

halaltube is extremely helpful. Straight after checkin my emails, you’ll see me browsing through halaltube, not youtube any more, lol. That’s good enough news that shows that halaltube is doing extremeley well, mashallah. I know you guys are doing so much work as it is,,,but can you please add Nouman Ali Khan’s remaining episodes??? Would really appreciate it. Haven’t actually heard of him before I got on to halaltube!! I guess halaltube is also becoming a new platform that makes scholars more well-known, alhamdulillah.
another reason why I like halaltube (one of the main ones really) is that it adds ALL scholars regardless of what their ways of thinking are as I beleive we can benefit from ALL inshallah. No ones being excluded or favouritised, alhamd.

I just found out about HalalTube last week and I LOOOOOVE IIIIIIT!:) It’s easy to use, offers a wealth of knowledge to seekers out there in “cyberspace”, and the speakers featured are so diverse, so you can get views and inspirational knowledge from many perspectives, masha’Allah. And it’s all right there for me, all the speakers…not like just wasting time browsing thru youtube to find something beneficial (and wasting most of my time with dumb videos:P). I have been sharing this site with all my friends in the community here in Colorado!

I think this website is excellent. Me and my husband have used the normal youtube and it is so disgusting due to harram content.
This website site is excellent to avoid fitna and to have ma’shaallh the right knowledge we seek from visiting these websites without having to see something against our beliefs or stumble against stuff like that.
Jazakallah khair and may God reward you all for your work as this is a great way of dua’ and providing great Islamic knowledge.
Just one thing. I wanted to ask whether you will be putting things on the website for knowledge, success eg: lectures from Tony Buzan etc as on youtube but obviously all that is halal content?

First of all let me extend my heartfelt appreciation for your endless efforts to spread the knowledge Islam.However i am (may be many others also are)unhappy and do not encourage and do not appreciate the fact that in such wonderful and halaal website like yours, there are few advertisements proppoing up which are haram according to our religion, such as “Date Muslim women in Arab countires”. i would like to say that when looking at a strange woman is it self haram, how your website is advertising about such filthy notions and forbidden activities. this is unislamic and the very purpose of your efforts of such a wonderful website is contradicted and defeted. hence it is my humble request in you to not only detest from advertising such websties but also to spread / educate people about the forbiddening of dating and going around with women, other than your immediate family before and after marraige.
hope this request shall be fulfilled by you at the very earliest.

Asslam alikum, i visited first time on this site, Alhumdullilah this is excellent site. i want to give one suggestion if you could do that,it will be very very usefull for all muslim community. As all lectures are in English if you could translate them into Urdu or Hindi and add it to particular Video that will be a great help for many people who want to listen and understand the lecture of the islamic scholor they will be benefited by this idea. i hope you will consider my suggestion and will do needful done.

i want to give one more suggestion. As we muslim have so many questions in our daily life regarding, like how we can follow islam in a right manner, there are so many missconceptions in islam which should be abolished. if any scholar could give right answer from this site, that will be a great help for all muslim.

Salam Wa Alaykum to all. I have now tried to watch a few of Imam’s Sirraj lectures, however they never seem to work due to violation use or 20minutes into it, it advises it currently not available? Brother’s at halal tube, thank you for this bless site it’s had a real positive impact on me and when sharing your link with the others it has had the same effect. Maybe your team can look into this imam’s lectures and possibly fix them or have them removed all together as it’s frustrating to say the least when your 20min into it and it stops work.

salaams and jazakallah. What a wonderful, fantastic website alhamdulilah. I am from Sri Lanka and we dont have that many good english scholars and wow what a find this was. I only wish I knew it earlier, but All in Allah’s time. Islam at the touch of the button in your own home. I have learnt so much but I wish I could be listening to the scholars live and studying with them. Dr. Maghraoui is sooooo good its amazing. Allah bless all of you and all of us.

i found the website helpful because everything is organised, there is a massive list of lectures and i believe that the information from this website is reliable. it is much safer then youtube as you dont get viewers adding any random stuff on.

mashaAllah, it’s a massive library of audio-’ilm. great for the khateeb or student to use as a reference.
by the way, i tried the search feature for the site. i wanted to find all audios on a given topic. but it did not work. so i used the Google search string: “site:www.halaltube.com Umar ibn Abdul Aziz” and it was a more accurate search result. just copy the site:www.halaltube.com for your google search term, add a space, and the topic you want: hajj, ramadan, etc.

Since when I switch to this website I never have gone to home from my office without listen at least for short while from this site evryday almost for one year. JazakAllahu Khaira for the people who do their efforts to launch this great one. And one suggestion among several, remove speeches which include messages from unauthentic resources.

I am writing to say thank you so much for your efforts, May Allah (swt) reward you all for helping to spread the deen of Islam. This site has helped me a lot Mashallah. I find it is rather expensive to buy Islamic books to seek knowledge and my finances do not allow me to do so at the moment. Alhamdullilah, this site is excellent for any one seeking knowledge. It has certainly helped me in a number of ways. The lectures have increased my knowledge Alhamdullilah and made me aware of so many things I did not know before. Mashallah the lectures have also helped increase my Iman. It is also very useful for women to learn about the deen from home rather than having to attend mixed gathering to seek knowledge. I especailly loved the lecture given by Abdul Rahmeen Green called ‘Pray before you are prayed upon’. As Salah is the second most important deed, Inshallah this lecture will continue to help many generations to come. Once again thank you. May Allah (swt) bless you all. Ameen.

As a relatively new Muslim (almost 4 years) Halal Tube has been so beneficial to me especially when preparing for Ramadan. It has helped to increase my eman and basic knowledge of the Deen. Like others have stated it would be great to download these lectures so that we can listen while we travel, but inshallah that will be coming soon.
I look forward to seeing what’s next on Halal Tube.. oh by the way – being able to listen to Quran on this site is also wonderful.

I really like this site, it’s like youtube without the distractions of other videos which arent related to Islam and I especially like how it organises speakers.
One thing that would help is if people could somehow have accounts and a personal list of favourite videos they can come back to.

Shiekh Peters – I think these guys are based in America so they are trying to protect themselves. The good ol “tie up your camel”. But you can just google awlaki for his lectures. I’m sure sites that aren’t hosted in America will still have them.

Muslimah, I agree with you 100%. Anwar al-Awlaki’s removal from this website is exactly what the enemies of Islam want. We should support our scholars especially Anwar al-Awlaki because all he preaches is Islam and the way of Rasulullah (pbuh). I disgusts me to know that the enemies of Islam have a major influence on HalalTube. On a more positive note, I trully appreciate the lectures by Yasir Qadhi. Imam Anwar and Imam Yasir are the scholar who will be leading this young muslim generation.

Assalamualykum, just wondering where is my Sheikh and the sheikh of the muslim youth of today…Shaikh imam Anwar Al Awlaki. This great and knowledgeable shaikh has to be among these great and honorable shuyukhs. Dear brothers it is not fair that Shaikh Anwar Al Awlaki is not included in Halal Tube. Please do allow someone like shaikh Anwar Al Awlaki to benefit us, the youth, he has truly inspired me to become a better muslim who love and have concern for his deen and have love towards muslim brothers and sisters. I pray that Allah belesses all of the shuyukhs ncluding Imam Anwar Al Awlaki!!!

With deep regret, I must say, I AM LEAVING HALAL TUBE.
When a Muslim brother is in pain, the whole Ummah should stand for it. The white bull amongst the ones who love life more than unity has been left on his own! Know that with your taking off Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki out of the site, you only expose yourself to the tyranny and disgust of Western powers and Ummah respectively.
And it is no surprise that the true Muslims are actually few and will remain so till The Last Day. You don’t even dare to announce your cowardly act, do you?
As far as the other shuyukhs are concerned, I can always get them from several other sites.
Halal Tube, you have started this unislamic act, and you will pay with disintegration in no time. When you leave your brother in despair, Allah takes of His Rehmah.
If you wish to put our dear Imam back on the list, know that Allah is oft-Forgiving most Merciful.

Dear brother Altaf Hussein, It is sad and in some ways incredible to know this fact, that Imam Anwar Al Awlaki is not on the list. I can undersrtand brother where you are coming from wallahi. This is a coward act to see that an islamic website like Halal Tube would do such things, when it should clearly act as a benefitting islamic website and not involve in segregating some shaikhs and do just like the kuffar would and already doing which is to demonise and segeregate those whom they belive is a threat. It is a shame of Halal Tube to do this and i think they got to apologise and put shaink Anwar’s lectures on thier web if they want to continue having the support of all muslims around the globe. Hamduallah now i can convert them and have them on my ipod, so that i can listen to them instead of music when i work out.
