I want to thank KAOSKTRL for opening his site for our use.

I hope all the members can join us tomorrow evening to discuss the current events in the middle east as well as the current situation right here and in other countries.

I recieved an email from a lady today concerned about Islam being taught in our schools.

There are so many issues and we need to confront them and do something about them as a group.

Ultimately, this discussion should be about how WE as individuals and as a group are going to respond to developments in the Middle East. What we need to consider against the backdrop of these current events is:

1) What issues are we going to contact the media about (letters to the editor, op/eds, etc.)?

2) What issues are we going to contact our representatives in government about?

3) What issues do we want to contact NGOs (civil and human rights groups) about?

4) What issues do we want to inform our local civic groups and community members about?

5) What can we individually contribute to this effort?

6) What, if anything, can we do as a group to respond to these developments?

This isn't about changeing the behavior of museum pieces such as zman. This is about preparing our government, media, civic groups and members of our communities to respond in an informed and effective manner to developments in the Middle East that directly effect our lives and our societies.

We are no longer a group of people that just come to the site, read what's new and go off grumbling to ourselves. We have a fantastic base of people that contribute to this, through the letters they've put together to send to our representives, the petitions, flyers, pamphlets.

But, the really neat thing is, Rabbit and I can see the stats everyday. We have people logging in from all over the globe and they come back everyday. They download the letters, petitions, flyers.

I've had requests to reformat our materials for their countries.

The more we participate, even if it's just through the forums, the word gets out there and more and more people will start to join and use the information.

I've described our group this way before: We are now the teachers. Most of us have been here for over a year now and it's time for us to help those that come to the site, looking for a way to make a difference.

Robert's idea of Jihad Watch chapters is an excellent one. Keep in mind, this is how most grassroots political organizations start and they are usually the most effective.

I've heard that some sites were hacked today. It's a pain to fix, but it won't stop the most important element. THE PEOPLE. If I had to stand on a street corner and read the Quran aloud and explain what it means, that's what I'd do.

Always remember, they can't stop the people from making a difference no matter how hard they try.

Someone like zman, (YAWN) just doesn't get it. He doesn't understand that he's become a prisoner of the rantings of a madman from 1400 years ago. He doesn't understand that we want to free his mind and spirit, to allow him to reach the full potential he could if he could just throw off the yoke of hatered and ignorance that bind him.

And the most important thing he doesn't understand, is here in the States, or west, even if he didn't leave Islam he would still have the right to practice his religion, as long as he doesn't try to impose it on others. That's something he really doesn't get. Individual freedom to be, think, act the way you choose.

And that is what we are going to protect. those very basic rights, that every human is entitled to.

What we do is not about hate as he would like to have others believe. It's about the love of human rights and the belief of freedom.
He thinks he's free and his world is perfect under Islam because it directs every aspect of his life. That's not freedom, that's a slavery of body, mind and soul.

It looks like everything is now up and running again.

Any one takeing a close look at Islamism and Nazism can tell that they have a great deal of similarities, more than any muslim will ever admit. The most striking of these is their world view. Just like the muslims, the nazis viewed the world as their own, and the inevitable conquest of that world as fact.

The only reason that nazism was defeated and islamism was not was because the great powers of the world united together to destroy nazism before it got rooted in. There has never been a united front against islam, and that is the reason that it has not fallen, yet. There have been attempts to unite, but nothing significant, more like struggles to survive(the crusades). If Russia, US, China, UK and whats left of free Europe, that which is not totally occupied by the muslims now, ever united then islam would be toast. Zeroman, I'm laughing so hard I can hardly type but let's consider your wild assertions. If Afghanistan was, is, or will be a jihadist victory against the Great Satan, the spoils of war are nothing but millions of impoverished, weary, downtrodden souls. What will the great muslim warriors do with their bounty, assuming the cowardly, weak, but high-tech enabled U.S. army is defeated? Will they reopen the stadium and begin executing helpless women for entertainment, and then retreat to a nice cozy niche to smoke dope and rape young boys?
Allah would like that, wouldn't he?

If the Great Satan wanted Iraq's oil, the Great Satan would have it. Who's to stop us? It is obvious to all who can see that we aren't interested in Iraq's oil, but you're not bright enough to grasp reality. That is because you're a muslim. Muslims live their lives totally absorbed in conspiracy theories. No matter how many times your wild conspiracy theories are proven false, you just cannot resist being the perpetual victim. I know it must be hell to look at the muslim world and compare it to civilization, but the pathetic mess you find in every Islamic country is the fruit of Islam--misery, poverty, ignorance, desolation. How sad.

How does it feel to be a member of the most lurid, savage, evil, cruel, xenophobic, worthless society on earth? I detected a few hints of a severe inferiority complex in your rambling rhetoric. But not to worry, there is a cure for what ails you and it's not jihad. What you need is a nice cathartic, something that will purge your mind and soul of Islam. Then you'll be a bonafide human being and maybe your brain will begin to function properly.

Well, since we are on prophetic messages, I've got one that you might find interesting. I see the work in Iraq now as a possible stepping stone to the fullfilment of this prophecy.

ISAIAH 19:23-25

23)In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24)In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. 25)The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance."

Blessed is the Holy Word of YHWH, praise and glory to HIM forever.

If you look at this, I recommend at least reading all of chapter 19 someone might find it interesting if not give them some hope for the future of our world without Islam's dominace. Thank Christ that they lose control over at least these regions, if you read all the prophecies you will see that Islam, or anything like it, has nothing to do with any of these lands in the end.
