See how skillfully Mahmoud Ahmadinejad plays to the prejudices and assumptions of the Left here.
And see here the fearlessness and indomitable spirit of one of the great heroes of the defense against the jihad pursued by Ahmadinejad and those of like mind.
Thanks to all who sent these in.
God gave Isreal to the jews,if mo has a problem with that, talk to God(the REAL one,not alah).
If even after reading this they are still prepared to take this thug at face value then it is bad faith on their part and nothing else. He is slippery, dishonest, not prepared to answer questions, and transparently dishonest and evasive in what he says. Consider, for example, what he says on the Holocaust:
So he claims to know that it didn't take place, despite the fatuous "if it did" rider. He also claims to know that anyone who is concerned to take account of the mountain of documentary evidence, eye-witness accounts, and photographs is "politically motivated". However, he can't even name anyone who "represent[s] the opposite position", despite his claim to know they are right, and has to ask Der Spiegel to provide the names.
If, after this, the left continues to fete this malevolent poisonous ignorant little toad, then they have told us all we need to know about themselves.
Der Speigel actually becomes the interviewee in the bizarre dialogue.
The Jews, under the guise of 'Zionsts', have again become a scapegoat and a rallying cry for an evil facism that threatens to utterly destroy Europe.
"Die Juden sind unser Ungluck. Muslims and Europeans unite." That is Ahmadinejad's message as clear as day.
When will Europe open its eyes?
Having German family I know that holocaust denial does cause quite a lot of upset. Should Germany not be demanding an apology from Ahmadinejad for not allowing them their own history? And why did Der Speigel not ask him if he would apologise to the German people for his insensitive remarks?
It was the Fallaci interview that is worth reading. What a truly remarkable woman.
I am in love.
"Fallaci continued posing indignant questions about the treatment of women in the new Islamic state. Why, she asked, did Khomeini compel women to “hide themselves, all bundled up,” when they had proved their equal stature by helping to bring about the Islamic revolution? Khomeini replied that the women who “contributed to the revolution were, and are, women with the Islamic dress”; they weren’t women like Fallaci, who “go around all uncovered, dragging behind them a tail of men.” A few minutes later, Fallaci asked a more insolent question: “How do you swim in a chador?” Khomeini snapped, “Our customs are none of your business. If you do not like Islamic dress you are not obliged to wear it. Because Islamic dress is for good and proper young women.” Fallaci saw an opening, and charged in. “That’s very kind of you, Imam. And since you said so, I’m going to take off this stupid, medieval rag right now.” She yanked off her chador."
- Fallaci interviewing Ayatolla Khomeini in 1979
Afterwards she said about Khomeini: "What a pity that, when pregnant with him, his mother did not choose to have an abortion.”
Perhaps I presume when I say that she and I would be fast friends. I LOVE this kind of talk.
I don't know what you mean "playing to the left".
It is not the left that is racist, antisemitic, misogynistic, homophobic, Hitlerite..it is the right wing, especially the extreme right. Pat Buchanan is "anti Zionist" do you posit him as left?
I read that same article posted Here of those persons who responded are on the Left, none of them. In fact that whole forum is contaminated with right wing, racist, misogynistic, homophobic's, who have allied with the Muslims cause they blame the Jews for everything bad..and quite a few are unabashed Hitlerites (and Hitler was not a Leftist, not by any stretch, witness all of the Socialists and Communists that swelled his concentration camps, or the Horst Wessel Lied, the anthem of the NSDAP written to commemorate a young NAZI killed by the Left).
And by the way on that forum, the most adamant sympathizers with Ahmadinejad, and the most sympathic allies of the Muslims are (gasp) Catholics. The "family values", anti abortion, patriarchial types especially and for good reason.. when it comes to "values" (I said "values", aka family values) there is more similarity twixt the two than differences.
Sweets for the sweet -- snot from the snot.
Jeez, I really can't figure out who whines more, the constantly-outraged mohammedans or the cry-baby, perennially defensive left.
Wipe your nose and grow up Nariz. The effeminate, bitchy, leftist sniveling grows tiresome.
Oriana Fallaci I love you!
Your restless spirit of freedom, you sound soooooo American. Or what America used to sound like.
Americans have lost the energy that is contained so brilliantly in you. Whow unto the tragic LEFT that has fallen prey to the Islamo-facist misinformation conspiracy.
But none could fool your beautiful, brilliant mind Oriana. Your more than ever, still have a sharpness and wisdom that has become a lost knowlege to the present culture.
If the elder Gods of pollitics bless us, your spirit will spread and live among us for the rest of our lives. You are a Goddest of freedom.

The Speigel interviewer was far better at doggedly countering the non-stop, slippery, fallacious b.s. of Mahmoud than most U.S. reporters would have.
Ahmadinejad came across as a sleazy, hypocritical, divisive, delusional spin-meister.
All I wanted the interviewer to say, as the endless anti-Zionist regurgitations of Ahmadinejad dribbled from his lying lips was to take the central thesis (one demographically suicidal for Israel) of the Palestinian doctrine "the right of return", and mention to Mahmoud that the Israelis, after nearly being exterminated in WW II, only sought the right to return to their ancient homeland which the pagan Romans had driven them from.
In short: "Mr. A., if you ask for this 'right of return' for the Palestinians, who have only lived in the region for a comaparatively short time, compared to the Hebrew people, how can you then deny this same 'right' to those whose historical homeland this was- and is, now, again?"
Otherwise, not bad.
It is a very bad interview. The Spiegel is not asking right questions, not once did the Spiegel journalists doubted the phrase of "Palestinian nation" , not once did they doubt the right of Palestinians to return to "their" country and/or asked what about the right of Jews who lived in continuity in the region for much longer than Arabs (the intruders). Not once did Spiegel doubted A.´s notions about Islam as fundament for justice by asking questions about incredible discrimination that Quran mandates towards women and non-Moslems or confronted A´s with his "Herrenmensch" attitude implying that non-Moslems should be forbidden to establish a statehood.
Bud how could they? First , Spiegel journalists like Moslems and consider Islam (especially OUTSIDE of Germany) to be a nice and peaceful religion that cannot be the source of any violence, unless hijacked by the "extremists". Second, Spiegel journalists believe that A´s hater is targeted only toward Israel and if Israel is sacrificed there will be a peace in the Middle East.
Yes, Spiegel journalists do not deny the Holocaust, they are very sorry for the Jews killed by the Nazis, but when it comes to the present, there is a little real support for the state Israel and lot of effort to describe both Isael and the "Palestinian" "nation" as equally unable to live in peace with each other. This attitude ( based probably on wish to relativise the Holocaust, by exposing historical victims of Germany as aggressive military powers) is what makes a Spiegel editor uncapable of running a good interview with someone like A.
Serbian girl
Guess I'll have to write Ahmadinejad an email, and tell him my father was a U.S. Army Captain in WWII, and he was in the company that unlocked the gates of a few of the concentration/prison camps. His group's job was to be sure there were no German officers still waiting to fight on the premises, and then let the Red Cross in to help the prisoners.
The idea that Ahmadinejad tries to deny what happened =should be= enough to brand him as incompetent to lead a herd of camels, much less a country like Iran.
if the Holocaust DIDN'T occur then why did that Muslim woman hold up a sign (at one of the cartoon rallies) saying "God bless Hitler"??? These immature adolescents are trying to have it both ways. Again.
