However, if it happens in Britain, its hard to see why it couldn't happen in the U.S. The Quranic resistance to assimilation, and insistence on the priority of loyalty to the Umma, is likely to work away at this even if American society lacks much of the traditional class consiousness that might be seen to inflame the problem in Britain.

Brings me to another point: I'm with Ronin on the Centanni conversion issue. Centanni and sidekick appear to be a spineless cowards in their "conversion" (reversion?). Death is not anywhere near the worse thing to befall man. We intuitively know we have an eternal soul. I, for one, would gladly accept an AK-47 round to the brain vs. "converting" to the satanic death cult. We must all die someday. Death with dignity and integrity is worth many years of a shameful existence facing Islamic "reverts". Heck, Centanni is 60 years old. Imagine the message he would have sent the world by his choice to die over following a pedophile/terrorist for a "prophet". The Afghan Christian made the right choice in accepting death and was able to witness to the world. He is a true man.

As a committed Christian, I believe faithful Christians are destined to be in Heaven after physical death. That being the case, why would a Christian put the stain of apostacy to such satanic garbage as Islam? We spend all eternity paying for the choices we make with respect to these matters. Christians on this site should spend a bit more time pondering whether it is justifiable to publically proclaim: "There is no god but allah, and mohammed is his prophet". The example of Jesus Christ, His Apostles, and all the Christian heros is one of keeping the faith to the point of death.

These were a Turk, an Iranian, and a Muslim from India. I have not seen these men in over twenty years, I can only hope that they are retired and still happy, and realize that they are just as much targets as the rest of us.

The ideal for my comments not only came for last week's decision to downgrade the planet Pluto to a minor league planet, but also from a science museium in NYC which had for a few years a display of up to 8 major planets with the simple question and answer for the question, "where's Pluto" ?. Do the same thing for the 5 major religions and downgrade the 6th to that of a minor cult with the question, what happened to islam? Give an explaination.

I’m sure that there are plenty of good Muslim people in the US. It would be nice to hear them apologize for the collective impact that those who share their faith have had on our Country.

They should write the American Qu’ran with all of the ‘cancerous’ aspects removed. American Muslims would publicly support the deportation of for those who do not denounce the teachings of the ‘false’ Qu’ran in writing. An internal policing force would be set up to prevent its re-emergence. Then we’ll all work together to move the world forward.

Common sense, civility and decency should have been the criteria in NOT allowing muslims to come to our countries. From some earlier posts, I assumed Mr. Centanni held himself out as a Christian. Either way, I think it important for all non-Muslims to be ready to die before converting to Islam. The stakes are that high. The Islamist ideology holds that all non-Muslims, particularly Westerners, are weak and cowardly. If they can be "terrorized" (following a number of Suras and Hadiths) vast numbers of "infidels" will be controlled by small numbers of Muslims. In fighting the ideology, we must be willing to show we are not cowards. That we hold certain ideals more sacred than our short lives.

I probably should have said Mr. Centanni's actions were cowardly. We are all sinful at base and in need of God's forgiveness. That Truth separates Christianity from Islam. Islam holds that man is born good and Muslim. That said, I have had to face the issue of possible capture by Islamists. I'm heading back soon to face it again. First: I will not be captured and will ensure I die before allowing capture. I am quite sure my fellow soldiers would kill me if it appeared necessary to prevent capture. None of us would allow that, because we all know what would happen. Even if captured, I would not give up my Christianity for any promises of life. Just isn't worth it.

All non-Muslims need to start getting serious in this fight. Our enemy needs to understand we are not weak and cowardly. That we hold some things above our temporal life. That they will not terrorize us and we are willing to sacrifice all for the sake of our children.

If when they are called they do not go to war, except for certain circumstances, they are counted as apostates, and are slaughtered...so even moderate Muslims (if there is any), can not be moderate when war starts. Anyone who doesn't believe the same as them or will not give them what they want are seen as against them so it makes us the enemy, even if we are peaceful, we are seen as being a threat to their ideals, so when their numbers become large enough in the countries they live in and their weapons are in large numbers we are to be exterminated. ...
