Vote for the international figure who doth bestride the narrow world like a colossus, standing up in the most splendidly courageous manner to Islamic supremacist bullying and intimidation, peaceful or violent:
Fr. Zakaria Botros: Scourge of the taqiyya artists
Pat Condell: Common sense
Oskar Freysinger: Leading the Swiss resistance against Islamization
Binyamin Netanyahu: Engaged in a treacherous and difficult give-and-take with Obama
Fr. Daniel Sysoyev: Threatened and ultimately murdered for preaching to Muslims
Geert Wilders: Warrior for free speech and free people
These are worthy candidates. But I think that Robert should give an award for the runner-up too.
During the awards ceremony, does the winner get a plaque? A check for $1.8m in monopoly money, or some other appropriate token of appreciation? If the recipient cannot attend the awards ceremony, does he mail the award to the recipient?
Inquiring minds want to know...
:)
Let us give this award to the Swiss People for voting to ban the minaret. Let us nominate Swiss People for Anti Dhimmi Internationale instead of individuals.
All the same, I express my deep respect for Fr. Zakaria, Pat Condell, Geert Wilders, Benjamin Netanyuhu, Freysinger and Sysoyev.
Again Robert,
your name was not on the list of options so I voted my second choice.
Your contribution to this fight is without equal.
Bibi.
I for one prefer to avoid re-nominating anybody, since it makes the awards more dull. This was Bibi's first chance to implement the policies he's been advocating, so obviously, I vote for him.
Given that Father Sisoyev ultimately died for what he did, I was tempted to vote for him. However, given that when one is preaching to Muslims, one risks attracting taquiyya converts, I can't say that I'm enthusiastically in favor of this as I previously was. And dying alone can't be the criteria to vote for him
