600 Churches Call For an End to the Drug War
The New England Conference of United Methodist Churches recently voted in favor of a resolution calling for an end to the drug war.
LEAP co-founder Jack Cole worked with the assembly to pass the resolution, which ends with a statement of support for LEAP.

LEAP board member and former prosecutor Dr. Inge Fryklund authored this article for the US Army Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute on the Special Inspector General’s quarterly report to Congress, noting that the U.S. goal of opium poppy prohibition is both unachievable and a contributing factor in the continuing instability of Afghanistan.
