"Massive Peace March," "Unauthorized rallied banned," "Massive sit-ins," "Worst rioting in Tehran," "Opposition can have voice," "Soldier brothers don't kill brothers," "Only Democracy can save Iran," etc. Distinctly 1970s -- even the cut-and-paste job. Click to enlarge.

What does this say about us as a nation - that we have not budged in 30 years! No growth whatsoever!!

Amir / February 3, 2010 10:35 PM

Yes, I agree. The United States has basically wandered around in the desert for 40 years, and we are right smack dab back at a failing late-Viet Nam scenario and a Jimmy Carter/L.B.J. hybrid president. You were referring to the U.S., weren’t you, Amir?

I think Amir was referring to Iran. We still have tyrants running the country. At least the Shah knew when to leave and spared his people the bloodshed. The IR rapist murders are too cold and dead inside they will fight harder but they will have the same fate.

Big difference is the many references to stike action. And they overturned the government! Coincidence? I think not!
