As a kid born after the revolution, it strikes me as odd how 'similar' some of the ads are to what is made now if only you put a veil on the ladies. The man who does the first commercial for the bank is still doing commercials for banks ...

the whole video showed us there was a time that we were normal like the rest of the world, we could travel to other countries and use traveler's checks to shop and they were accepted in other countries ... we did not need to haul cash abroad because of sanctions on our banks and our money being of zero value elsewhere.
