Completely pointless
Why is there not a "zero star" option when rating apps? I have never felt like I needed to rate an app, much less rate an app this low. It is entirely pointless, counterproductive AND counterintuitive to have created an app like this and FORCE Facebook users (who depend on Facebook to promote their businesses) to download such an inefficient app. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. There is a way around having to download to look at and respond to page messages. Facebook...you used to be the source of efficiency. But this is ridiculous. You don't need to create a new sparkling "feature" to stay relevant, as people will always continue to utilize efficient tools. This "Page Manager" is not an efficient tool compared to the original method of managing our business pages. Ever heard of the phrase "don't recreate the wheel"? Well this app is that times ten with a sprinkle of "well, we're bored up here at Facebook headquarters, what can we pull out of our butts today?"
This is an utterly terrible app.
If i could give this app zero stars, I would. Unfortunately it is not an option. I was forced by Facebook to download this app to access the inbox for my business. It doesn't work. It takes ten minutes to even pull up my inbox, and I have yet to be able to access an actual message because it's so slow. Absolutely horrible. I have been going to Facebook through Safari because that is the only way I can respond to customer inquiries. This is appalling. Some of us need this app to work in order to run our business!! Get it together. I'm just going to delete it. How can you force users to use an app that doesn't work???
Needs to be fixed
The upload photo function hangs continually. This week be the second week in a row that pictures saved to my iPad will have to be sent to cloud storage and then uploaded via laptop to the page rather than going directly from this app. The interface is decent but somewhat clunky. Now that it keeps hanging, I am considering simply bypassing the app altogether and saving the photos right to the cloud from the outset. Also, a WYSIWYG GUI would be handy to be able to see how a user sees the page.
