About This Course

This is a Cardinal Curriculum Level 2 course. It covers the award process after a proposal is submitted to a sponsor. It outlines the responsibilities of the PI, department administrator, and the institutional official. It discusses the compliance hierarchy that must be understood and implemented during the life of the award from PTA setup through spending and closeout.

This course is only available online. Complete both Cardinal Curriculum Level 1 courses before you take this course.

The online material is divided into modules. You don’t have to read all the modules at once, although many people do. You can come and go in whatever way works for you. You can go back and review modules anytime before you take the test and any time in the future.Take the final test when you finish reading all the modules. 

Companion Workshop

This three hour workshop will help you to extend and reinforce your learning. It is offered once each quarter. Instructors will answer your questions and guide you through using some of the systems as you work on a provided computer in a computer lab.
