Welcome to Stanford!
The Bechtel International Center (I-Center) extends a warm welcome to the spouses (wives or husbands) of international students and visiting scholars at Stanford. It is our hope that your time at Stanford will be an enriching experience for every member of your family. The I-Center, the Stanford campus, and the surrounding communities have much to offer apart from the academic dimension.
While the scholar will be facing academic and research challenges, each spouse or partner will be facing a somewhat different, but also important, challenge in building and adjusting to a new life here. The following resources can be useful first steps in enriching your time here.
