Mobile Device Repair — iCracked

IT Services has partnered with Bay Area startup iCracked to provide iOS and Android Mobile Device Repair services to the Stanford community. iCracked's technicians (iTechs) will come to your office, home, or other location to repair your mobile devices. Don't replace it, repair it — at a fraction of the cost.

iCracked services include:

  • Screen repair
  • Microphone/speaker problems
  • Water damage repair
  • Battery replacement
  • Button repair

All iCracked Repair Requests must be made through the iCracked form, using the button on the top right  of this page. Mobile Repair requests via HelpSU will be automatically referred back to the iCracked form.

Note:  Repairs completed by iCracked will void any existing Apple Warranty (standard or AppleCare) associated with the mobile device.  

 

When you request an iCracked Repair:

  1. A certified local iTech is notified of your request
    Using iCracked's dispatch system, all iTechs within the nearby area are notified, giving you speedy response time.
  2. You will receive a call from an iTech within 24 hours
    One of iCracked's highly qualified and talented iTechs will commit to your repair dispatch and get in touch with you to schedule the time and location of your repair. The iTech will also ask you about the model of your mobile device and the problems you are experiencing. They will provide an initial diagnosis and price estimate, if possible.
  3. Choose a place to meet that works for you
    Pick any location that works for you; office, home, or even your local coffee shop. There is no change in cost for an iTech to meet you in a location of your choice.
  4. iTech repairs your device
    The iTech will diagnose, repair, and run final tests on your Mobile Device in a very short time. Most iPhone screen replacements take about 20 minutes.  
  5. iTech will ask you to pay for the repair using a credit card or purchasing card (aka Pcard).
    You or your department contact will need to pay the iTech when the repair is complete, using any type of credit card (please refer to Department Contact/Admin for recommended payment method). IT Services cannot pass these charges through internal billing at this time.
  6. Receive repair receipt and 99 year warranty
    The iTech will email a repair and payment receipt before saying goodbye. All parts and repairs are covered by a 99 year warranty.
