Announcing the launch of "Custom Map Maker": Customized map making tool from LBRE-IT
LBRE IT is pleased to present Custom Map Maker. A new web-based custom map making application that is available to everyone with a SunetID and it is free!
So, imagine displaying your department location or an assembly point on Stanford’s campus map. Forget the scribbling on printed maps and then making copies or scanning it to convey something simple.
From event or meeting location maps to parking information or closures; Fall cleanup locations to points of interest; maintenance locations to directions - The possibilities with this tool are endless.

Be assured that Custom Map Maker’s underlying data is always current and accurate per Stanford’s Maps and Records repository.
Within minutes users can create static pdf or generate interactive maps to embed in websites. Think collaboration. Share your maps and come back to your saved maps to quickly make necessary edits. All in a jiffy.

Custom Map Maker is designed to be intuitive and comes with handy training resources. In addition, we are happy to provide further demos, a primer session for smaller groups, or even 1-on-1 help with specific mapping needs.
