Who Should Apply
The programs are designed for physician faculty with full- or part-time appointments in residency training programs and/or medical schools in the U.S. or other countries.
Attendance in each program is limited to six participants.

How to Apply
Please submit (1) a letter describing yourself and your institution, and (2) letters of support from both your Division Chief and Department Chair. You should address the following issues in your letter:
- the length of time you have been on the faculty;
- how the faculty development program would fit into your career goals;
- your interest in pursuing research activities in the field of medical education;
- those faculty and residents at your institution who would be affected by the training;
- institutional support available at the divisional and departmental levels for the training and associated research activities in which you would be involved (e.g., recruitment of seminar participants, photocopying training materials, administering questionnaires);
- the availability of financial support for the training.

Approximately $150 per night based on previous years
The institutions of faculty selected for the month-long training programs are asked to pay a fee of $15,000. This will cover training-related expenses. Transportation, housing and food are not included.
