Applications for Summer 2015 are now open!
SUMaC invites all students who seek to be challenged in mathematics and who would enjoy four weeks of intensive, in-depth, mathematical pursuits to apply.
Dates
Summer 2015: July 12 – August 8
SUMaC’s four week residential program takes place on Stanford University’s campus from July 12 – August 8, 2015. Both Program I and Program II take place simultaneously during this time.
Eligibility
Requirements: Students currently in grades 10 or 11
SUMaC is for students who are in grades 10 or 11 at the time of application, and who have exceptional interest and ability in mathematics.
Application
Deadline: March 4, 2015
Applications for Summer 2015 must be submitted by March 4, 2015.
New applicants must first fill out a preliminary application.

Tuition
Fees & Expenses: $6250
The SUMaC tuition fee is $6250 and it includes all housing, meals, course materials, and field trip expenses.
Financial aid is provided.
Selection Process
Admission is competitive
SUMaC students are selected based on their grades in math courses, their performance on standardized math exams and math contests, their teacher recommendations, their reasons for wanting to come to SUMaC as expressed on the SUMaC application, and their performance on the SUMaC admission exam. Particular emphasis is placed on the admission exam, which is a collection of challenging math problems for applicants to work on at home over an extended period.
