    The CDC had forecast at least 250,000 deaths by Thanksgiving weekend, that number was reached yesterday. Today's latest CDC forecast now forecasts 276,000-298,000 deaths by Dec. 12.

    Today’s SOLIC changes were required in section 922 of the 2017 NDAA signed into law by President Obama in 2016. By the way, section 923 of that bill created US Cyber Command.

    And today’s SOLIC announcement was required by Congress in the 2017 NDAA. So it’s been in the works since then and why Miller said it realized Congress’s intent.

    Acting Secretary Miller said today that SOCOM would now be “on par” with the military services by having the civilian in charge of Special Ops report directly to him.
