    Does anybody know why the site was shuttered? I read the explanation on the page, but that does not explain why the contents are no longer accessible, e.g., interviews. You can get to some of it via Wayback, but still ...

    Uhhh… so has been taken down, and its archives weren't captured by the Wayback Machine.

    It sure looks like it. At least for the next three years ...

    Thanks to this week’s US copyright exemptions, preservation just got easier for and others whose “preservation institution legally possesses a copy of a video game’s server code and the game’s local code.”

    Should add: I testified in support of the requested exemption identified as "class 9" and wrote in support of the "class 8" exemption.

    Big news: Copyright Office has issued its "Section 1201 Rulemaking" for this year. These are its decisions for requested exemptions from DMCA's (copyright law in the U.S.) rules regarding circumvention of copyright controls. Much to read:
