Welcome

The Children's Center of the Stanford Community (CCSC)—one of the largest parent cooperatives in the state of California—currently serves more than 125 families of Stanford University faculty, staff, and students. CCSC has nine classrooms and offers part- and full-time early childhood learning programs for children from 8 weeks to five years old. Accredited by the NAEYC, the play-based educational philosophy of the Center is grounded in the belief that children are competent, curious, and resourceful learners. Founded by Stanford graduate students in 1969, CCSC is the only nonprofit, cooperative childcare Center on the Stanford University campus.
