Early Career Fellows Program

The Center for Ocean Solutions supports and fosters leadership skills development for current and future interdisciplinary ocean leaders. The Center’s Early Career Fellows program draws on and enhances the academic and professional skills of early career professionals by placing them in interdisciplinary collaborations focused on identifying, developing and implementing enduring solutions to the greatest challenges facing the earth’s coasts and ocean. Fellows work on a variety of cross-disciplinary team-based projects with Center staff, visiting fellow and affiliated faculty and researchers. Fellows bring disciplinary breadth and depth to these teams, from marine ecology to law and environmental engineering to social science.

Ocean Soluitons also provides each fellow with one-on-one training and mentorship, including access to professional development, leadership, and communications workshops and courses both in-house and through the MARINE program.  All Early Career Fellows have terminal degrees-PhDs, JDs, or MBAs-and are in residence with the Center for up to three years.
