Supported by corporate membership fees, affiliate programs provide an avenue for industry to contribute to and sustain research and teaching in areas of interest. Corporate membership in these programs provides access to research, meetings, symposia, students and researchers.

Gifts: Invest in the future

Last year more than 200 companies generously made donations to Stanford Engineering.  Companies may endow graduate fellowships and professorships, offer scholarship support to students, provide support to student groups, name spaces on campus, give to diversity initiatives or donate funds and equipment to labs, departments and courses. 

Sponsored Research: Creatively address business challenges

Companies that sponsor research at Stanford Engineering gain the opportunity to take advantage of state-of-the-art facilities and labs or put the school's world-class faculty, researchers and students to work on a problem. More than 50 companies tap Stanford Engineering’s sponsored research opportunities, and the resulting work not only benefits the affiliated companies but fulfills the university’s mission to advance knowledge.
