A new community of homes for Stanford faculty is under construction on 17 acres on California Avenue in Palo Alto, across from Amherst/Dartmouth Streets. This is Stanford University land that was part of the Research Park and is being redeveloped for faculty housing. This project is in early construction and the following are facts about this community as we now know them. This webpage is subject to change and will be updated as more information becomes available.

Availability The first homes will be available in late 2016. Final completion is planned for late 2017. These dates are subject to change.

Pricing Prices will reflect the restrictions of the Ground Lease and will be set nearer to completion of construction. There will be HOA fees.
Eligibility At this time, priority is planned for:

Faculty, who are members of the Academic Council, who are first time homebuyers* or who have not owned a detached single-family home within the Qualifying Limit in the three years prior to receipt of a written offer of employment from Stanford.
Interest List An interest list will be available in late 2015. If demand exceeds the supply of homes a lottery will determine which faculty will have an opportunity to purchase.

* A first time homebuyer is someone who has never had an ownership interest in a residential property located within the Qualifying Limit in the three years prior to receipt of a written offer of employment from Stanford.
