Washington is not only the political capital of the world, but it is also an internationally recognized cultural center.
We are grateful to Helen and Peter Bing who have provided an endowment that supports not only the program, but also the many field trips and cultural events that are central to the BSIW Program experience.
Thanks to the genorosity of the Bings, during their term in the BSIW Program students are able to attend a variety of cultural events and go on day and overnight trips, which may include:
- the Washington National Opera;
- the National Symphony Orchestra,
- Gettysburg National Monument
- Monticello
