Office 365

News and Announcements

  • Changes to Outlook on the web: See New features coming to Outlook on the web for a description of the new look and features.
  • Clutter: Microsoft has released their Clutter feature as a default service, and it's appearing now for Stanford users on a rolling basis. This feature attempts to sort emails into a folder called Clutter if they appear to be ones that are received but not read. If you would like to turn this feature off, you can use the Options menu. We haven't found a way to remove the Clutter folder itself.

Office 365 is a cloud-based email and calendaring service, hosted by Microsoft. The Outlook on the web lets you access your Stanford email, calendar, address book, and tasks on any computer through a web browser. You can also use a desktop email client or a mobile device to access your Office 365 email and calendar.
