The Sponsorship Manager search has been improved and the SUNet ID creation process has changed.
Improved searching in Sponsorship Manager
The Sponsorship Manager search function has a new look and more features. Now you can search by SUNet ID, University ID, name, or shared email address.
New SUNet ID creation process
The SUNet ID creation process has changed. Previously, the person receiving the SUNet ID began the process. Now, the account sponsor searches for an existing SUNet ID record before activating an extant account or issuing an email invitation to create a new SUNet ID.
To search for someone's SUNet ID or University ID, click the Person tab and enter at least the person's last name. The more information you enter, the easier it will be to find the correct record.
If the person does not have an existing record, create a new record for this person and then sponsor their SUNet ID account. The following information is required: last name, date of birth, and a valid personal email address. To make future searches easier, complete as many fields as possible in addition to the required fields.
