Leadership Dinners

Leadership Dinners bring proven leaders from various arenas together with a small group of graduate students for dinner and informal discussion about what it means to be a leader and to lead organizations, movements, and people. This is a great opportunity to discuss leadership and career development in a casual setting with individuals who have had a major impact in a variety of settings, ranging from business to government, philanthropy, and education.

Dinners are facilitated by Bernadine Chuck Fong, currently serving as VPGE's director of leadership initiatives and special projects. Dr. Chuck Fong is President Emerita of Foothill College, where she was also professor of psychology and child development. She is a former Stanford University Trustee. Her BA, MA, and PhD are all from Stanford.

Registration Process

Open to all current Stanford graduate students; space is limited.

If selected, participants will be required to submit a $50 deposit check made out to Stanford University to secure their seat.  Participants must attend the entire dinner (5-8 PM) and checks will be returned upon successful completion of the session. Instructions for submitting the deposit will be included with the notification information.

Application for the 2014-2015 Leadership Dinners is closed. The application for the 2015-2016 dinners will reopen in Autumn 2015.
