Glenn D. Krizay

Mr. Glenn D. Krizay is the Deputy Under Secretary, Plans, Policy, Performance Management, Office of Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security.  He is responsible for directing information sharing, intelligence policy planning for the Department, budget development and resource allocation priorities for the Office of Intelligence and Analysis, synchronizing intelligence programs and priorities for DHS Intelligence Enterprise and the greater Intelligence Community, and developing performance management tools to strengthen intelligence programs.

Prior to joining the Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Glenn D. Krizay served as Director, Office of Enforcement Analysis, Department of Commerce.  He was responsible for managing the evaluation of information to make licensing determinations and assess potential diversion risk associated with export license applications; and analytical support to Department of Commerce law enforcement activities.  Working in coordination with other Bureau of Industry and Security offices, his office conducted screening and evaluations of documents and data-bases to identify actual or potential violations of the Export Administration Act, and it implemented export Administration Regulations. 

Mr. Krizay worked in the private sector before joining the Department of Commerce, as an intelligence subject matter expert, supporting the Department of Defense.  He also served as the Defense Intelligence Agency as Deputy Chief Financial Officer for measurement and signatures intelligence and technical collections.

Mr. Krizay is retired from the United States Air Force after twenty-six years of honorable and faithful service.  He had several assignments providing intelligence support to operational units, to include serving as the Director of Intelligence for Joint Task Force - Southwest Asia supporting Operations Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom; and Deputy Director of Intelligence for Central Air Forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He also served in a number of United States Air Force and Joint staff assignments in intelligence resource management, system architectures, and plans and policy development.

A native Ohioan, Mr. Krizay graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.  He received a Masters in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
