Ice cream, llamas and DIY calming jars. Don't miss it!

The Stanford Libraries will once again be hosting its annual De-Stress Fest.

Green Library will be hosting activities on Wednesday, June 5th between 3:00-5:00 pm. Highlights for this year include DIY calming jars, a make your own ice cream sundae bar, pizza and swag compliments of the Stanford Federal Credit Union, the lively Stanford Band, and much more.

Chinese brush painting exhibition at East Asia Library

From May 17 to May 25, the East Asia Library will host a pop-up exhibition featuring mounted works of traditional Chinese brush painting produced by students in the Stanford Continuing Studies Program.  The paintings are displayed in the 3rd floor exhibition cases.

Chinese landscape paintings exhibited at East Asia Library

From May 11 to May 17, the East Asia Library will host a pop-up exhibition of Chinese landscape paintings produced by students in ART228: The Art of Chinese Landscape Painting, taught by Dr. Felix Chan Lim and Dr. Bobbi Makani-Lim.  The paintings will be displayed in the exhibition cases on the 3rd floor landing.

I am pleased to announce the hiring of Samantha Koutsoftas for the Position of Operations Coordinator and Document Delivery Specialist.
 
Samantha started on April 29, 2019 and will be primarily responsible for the scanning operation as SAL3, as well as taking on some administrative and supervisory responsibility.
