About

The Frederick Emmons Terman Engineering Library supports the research and teaching of the School of Engineering and Physics and Applied Physics Departments, as well as the research labs and institutes of the following departments: Aeronautics & Astronautics, Bioengineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Science & Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Library space and services are designed to foster collaboration among students and faculty. Subject librarians are assigned as liaisons to each department to facilitate discovery, retrieval, and integration of print and digital information.

Accessibility

Parking is available for those with accessible parking permits on the south side of the Huang Engineering Center and in Parking Structure 2. The building is equipped with automatic doors, accessible elevators, and accessible washrooms. A height-adjustable computer work station is available in the library. Location

Terman Engineering Library is located in the Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center, 475 Via Ortega, Room 201. The library is located on the second floor of the octagon-shaped building of the Science and Engineering Quad.

Transit and parking

Visitor, “C,” and “A” parking is available in Parking Structure 2, located at the corner of Panama St. and Via Ortega. The Marguerite Line X, Line Y, and SLAC stop at the corner of Panama St. and Via Ortega.
